BIER HALLE AND COOK HAUS COMING TO LIVERPOOL SUMMER 2019

Named after Prince Albert, the Anglo-Bavarian prince and husband of Queen Victoria, Albert’s Schenke will bring a Bier Halle and Cook Haus to the city, opening on the corner of Hanover Street, in the Grade II listed Casartelli Building.

First things first – Who is Albert?

Prince Albert was the Anglo-Bavarian prince who was Queen Victoria’s main squeeze.

The two lovers spent their time creating for a few grand buildings here and there so – of course – Albert’s Schenke, much like sister venue Albert’s Schloss in Manchester, will be taking inspitation from the royal couple.

What is a Schenke?

High German (Noun) meaning pub or Tavern, to pour.

BIER HALLE

Albert’s Schenke will very much be about its extensive range of bier: guests can sip by the schooner, pour by pint, or take a tour of the taps with a range of bier flights.

Alongside the unique bier offering, the drinks craft will continue with premium High G&Ts, cocktails, magnums of prosecco and artisan schnapps.

COOK HAUS

Albert’s Schenke wouldn’t be complete without it’s very own Cook Haus.

The Cook Haus will offer a unique and modern take on dishes from all over Alpine Europe.

Albert will be serving up authentic, rustic dishes such as haus signature the Schweinshaxe (pork knuckle); schnitzels and of course lots of sausage.
